Reference no.: SCC_109978 Symptom NTK 2k15 TV screen shows “CI+ key failed …”. Cure AFFECTED: Novatek 2k15 TV sets based on chassis TPN15.1E LA. INFO: The TV screen shows “CI+ key failed …”. The CI+ key might be lost after SW upgrade. INFO: Losing the CI+ key is prevented in SW version 2.013 or higher. Call Centers: 1. Direct the customer to Work Shop. Board level repair Work Shops: 1. Replace the SSB and update the SW to the latest version (2.130 or higer). 2. Log the case with Symptom code "13A" and description "UNUSUAL OR INCORRECT MESSAGE IN DISPLAY". SSB repair Work Shops: 1. Upgrade to SW version 2.013 or higher. 2. Perform the CI+ key update. 3. Log the case with Symptom code "13A" and description "UNUSUAL OR INCORRECT MESSAGE IN DISPLAY". REMARK: Regarding to service sensibility, the CI+ key update procedure should be done by central service.
